AFRIC MARE OCEAN S.R.L. was founded on a legacy of maritime tradition, inspired by the journey of a family of three brothers who had a passion for fishing from a young age. Rooted in the port of Mar del Plata, Argentina’s principal fishing hub, the company’s story began when its founders started working in the local market as teenagers, taking their first steps in the seafood industry.
By the early 1980s, AFRIC MARE OCEAN S.R.L. had begun producing and distributing South Atlantic seafood to the domestic market, supplying regions such as Córdoba, Mendoza, San Juan, Neuquén, and La Pampa.
In 2006, the company expanded further, entering the meatpacking sector by providing high-quality seafood raw materials tailored to this growing market. Over the past two years, driven by a spirit of innovation and growth, AFRIC MARE OCEAN S.R.L. has assembled a team of industry professionals to launch a new phase focused on the global export of frozen fish and seafood, offering a full range of sales solutions worthy of a company with decades of proven experience.
